I need an experienced aerospace engineer to run the numbers on a specific connection point of an aircraft wing before I green-light a repair. You will receive two data sets from me right away: the original manufacturer’s wing design package and a separate problem file that already contains detailed drawings and the relevant load specifications. No failure reports are involved, so our focus is purely on confirming whether the modified structure has the necessary load-carrying capability. This is an experimental aircraft. You are free to choose your preferred toolchain. Hand-calcs that back up the model are welcome Deliverables • A concise engineering memorandum (PDF) that states allowable versus applied loads, factors of safety, and a clear pass/fail verdict for the repair. • The native files for any FEA or supplementary calculations. • Marked-up drawing excerpts that highlight critical areas and any recommended design tweaks. Acceptance criteria 1. Load paths and boundary conditions match the manufacturer’s original design assumptions. 2. Results demonstrate at least the required factor of safety across all limit and ultimate cases provided in the load spec. 3. All inputs, material properties and solver settings are documented for reference to the repair.
