Our enterprise-grade SaaS platform is mid-stream in development and the team now needs structured, part-time project management focused squarely on coordination. I already have timelines and backlog groomed; what’s missing is a steady hand to keep day-to-day execution on track. Primary focus • Task & team management inside Asana – setting priorities, tracking progress, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. • Quality control checkpoints – verifying that deliverables meet definition-of-done before they move downstream. • Customer-facing communication – preparing concise status updates, capturing feedback, and funnelling actionable items back to the dev squad. Asana is our single source of truth, so fluency there is essential. You’ll step into existing boards, create or refine workflows, and keep the conversation flowing between developers, designers, QA, and customer stakeholders. When an obstacle appears, rapid triage and clear next steps are expected. Success will be measured by: 1. Consistently updated Asana boards with accurate assignees, dates, and statuses. 2. Fewer open questions during sprint reviews because blockers were surfaced and resolved early. 3. Timely, well-structured customer status reports that reflect real progress and quality metrics. For some tasks that are custom development, budgets need to be communicated to clients and then we need to follow up that invoicing has taken place post delivery. The engagement is part-time; cadence and hours can flex around major release milestones. Let’s streamline collaboration so the team can focus on shipping reliable, enterprise-class software.

Because your timelines and backlog are already groomed, I would focus immediately on execution discipline inside Asana: clear owners, current dates, visible blockers, definition-of-done checks, and concise customer updates tied to actual delivery status. I would run the engagement as a structured coordination layer across developers, designers, QA, and stakeholders. The two priorities would be maintainability and admin workflows, ensuring Asana remains accurate enough to support sprint reviews, release decisions, budget approvals, and post-delivery invoicing follow-up without relying on scattered messages or manual reminders. My process would include regular board hygiene, priority reviews, blocker triage, quality gates before handoff, customer-ready status reports, feedback conversion into actionable tasks, and tracking of custom-development estimates through approval, delivery, and invoicing confirmation. A relevant example is FileChannels, a multi-platform collaboration product involving web and mobile apps, real-time messaging, calling, secure file workflows, CRM integrations, payments, and multiple user roles. Projects of that complexity require continuous coordination across parallel workstreams and clear release ownership.

Hi, I can take on the day-to-day coordination role you've described - keeping Asana boards accurate (priorities, assignees, dates, statuses), running quality checkpoints against your definition-of-done before items move downstream, and preparing clear customer-facing status updates. I'll flag blockers early and keep communication flowing between dev, design, QA and your customer stakeholders, plus track the budget/invoicing follow-ups for custom-dev tasks. Could you tell me about your current sprint cadence (Scrum vs Kanban) so I can slot in smoothly?
