Part-Time Virtual Assistant Needed – Website Content Editing, WordPress & SEO Support We are looking to hire a part-time Virtual Assistant for the next few weeks to help edit and improve content across duplicated WordPress websites that have been copied onto new, unique domains. The main task will be updating existing website content so that it becomes unique, brand-specific, and relevant to the goal of each new website. This will involve using tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to rewrite content, generate page copy, improve wording, and create more relevant website content for each brand. The ideal candidate should have experience with: Editing website content in WordPress Using Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools for content creation Writing clear, fluent English Creating SEO meta titles and meta descriptions for website pages Improving page content for SEO and click-through rate Understanding basic local SEO content structure Helping create or improve blog content using H1, H2, and H3 headings Loading edited content into WordPress websites Following instructions carefully and working through tasks consistently Additional useful skills would include: WordPress page editing experience Elementor or page builder knowledge Basic on-page SEO knowledge Local SEO knowledge for towns, counties, and service-area pages Schema markup knowledge, such as LocalBusiness, FAQ, Service, or BlogPosting schema Experience with Rank Math, Yoast SEO, or similar SEO plugins Ability to create internal links between pages and blog posts Basic image optimisation, including file names, alt text, and image compression Ability to generate or source suitable images for website pages Experience creating Facebook pages for new brands or client businesses Basic Google Business Profile knowledge would be a bonus Blog writing or blog formatting experience Understanding of content strategy for local service websites Ability to follow SEO briefs and support an SEO manager Basic knowledge of WordPress menus, pages, posts, categories, and media library Attention to detail when updating brand names, contact details, page titles, and location references This role will start as part-time work for the next few weeks, but there may be additional work available afterwards on an ongoing or occasional basis. Fluent English is essential, as the work involves editing and improving live website content.
