Currently we use: an ERP system (Achiever) for sales orders and production orders Excel spreadsheets for BOM costing and production tracking PDF production orders Sage for accounting Our goal is to build a centralized operational system that consolidates data from these sources and provides dashboards, automation, and AI-assisted workflows. This is not a marketing website. It is closer to building a lightweight manufacturing ERP / operations platform. We plan to develop the system in multiple phases, starting with a core operational database and expanding into automation and analytics. Data Sources The system must import or process data from: ERP exports (Excel / CSV) BOM spreadsheets production tracking spreadsheets production order PDFs design images and CAD files Future phases may use AI tools for document parsing and design search. Technology Stack (Flexible) Developers may propose alternatives, but preferred technologies include: Backend Python (FastAPI) or Node.js Database PostgreSQL / Supabase Frontend React / [login to view URL] dashboard AI / Automation (future phases) OpenAI API OCR / document parsing Version control GitHub repository owned by client System should be modular so future developers can extend it.
