I've got a couple of questions 1. How many files do you've in the S3 bucket? 2. What is the average size of the files? 3. Have you considered archiving to AWS Glacier instead? 4. Is there any specific reason why you want to zip and store it into S3 bucket itself instead of Glacier? Thanks Jay

Hello, I'm certified aws solutions architect and I can do this job very well. Could you please share what's the maximum size of object to be compress in S3 as in few cases lambda might not be the best case to solve this issue and we might need to use EC2 . Let me know further details. Thanks

Few queries : 1) delete original ? 2) size of file, so that they can compress within 5 mins(lambda limit)
