Project Overview: I need an Android developer to make a simple but urgent text modification on the first screen of an existing Android application. The full Android Studio project is ready and will be provided immediately upon hiring. This is a very small task with a strict 2-day completion deadline. Detailed Requirements: Core Task: Locate and remove (or edit) a specific text string on the first screen (likely Activity) of the app. What You Will Receive: The complete, functional Android Studio project source code. Your Deliverables: The modified Android Studio project with the text removed from the correct screen. A new, signed APK file (or Android App Bundle) generated from the updated project. Confirmation that the app compiles without errors and runs correctly with the change. Technical Scope & Instructions: Access: You will be given the full source code. Change: The modification is limited to the layout file ([login to view URL] or similar) or possibly the string resources ([login to view URL]). No changes to app logic, functionality, or other screens are required or requested. Process: You must: Open the project in Android Studio. Identify the correct TextView element in the layout for "Screen 1". Remove or edit the specified text. Build the project to ensure no errors. Generate a new APK/AAB file for testing. Deliver the updated project and the new APK. Project Timeline & Milestones: Duration: Maximum 2 days from start to finish. Milestone 1 (Start): Upon hiring, I will send you the project files. Milestone 2 (Completion): You deliver the modified project and the new APK. Payment will be released after I verify the change is correct.
