RatLab: A small DB app to catalog Lab Rats - VB6, Access DB

This is a project that was handed to my by a college professor, although this is not for any class and I will not receive a grade for it. They want me to develop a program that can create and store information on lab rats, and also query, print, and perform other functions on the data. I am a novice coder. I began by creating a MS access database, then began building a VB6 program to perform the required functions. However, with my novice skills I find myself unable to complete the project, and time is running short. The database includes information such as the rat name, rat parents names, date of birth, weaning date, maturation date, rat grade, sex, project name, project assigned date, etc. The database is already created and has some example entries. The program includes following requirements: 1) installation program 2) splash screen 3) be able to browse, create, edit, delete entries 4) auto create entries (ex: enter in parent names, # of pups, and sex of pups. program creates entries with appropriate grade and names, etc.) 5) create summary of rats in lab 6) query database by any combination of fields 7) print any forms, queries, screens, etc. 8) Header must be editable (a collection of labels at the top of the main form) 9) option to archive entries from the database The program is already created as a collection of forms in a MDI. My work is available to the coder and I would prefer if it is used at least for format of the forms and general flow of the program. I am sure my novice code will provide a few chuckles for a more experienced coder. Further details will be explained to the coder including the rat naming scheme and how grading works for entry auto creation, explaination of database fields, and other information. This must be completed in VB6 so I can make changes to the final product. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
