After a sudden power cut the server came back up cleanly—Apache, MariaDB/MySQL, Asterisk and all VICIdial services report as running and phpMyAdmin shows the database online. Yet every agent now sees “Invalid Username/Password” on the campaign screen and the admin page just reloads when credentials are entered. Here is what I have already done: examined the Apache, MySQL, Asterisk and VICIdial logs for obvious errors, repaired and optimized the vicidial_users table, and confirmed the credentials being typed are correct. No browser-side tricks helped. We also do not have a usable database backup, so whatever fix you apply must leave the current data intact—no wipe-and-reinstall options are acceptable. I need you to: • Identify the exact point in the stack (MySQL privilege tables, HTTP auth, VICIdial scripts, Asterisk conf, etc.) that is blocking authentication. • Restore full login functionality for both agents and the admin portal without data loss. • Provide a short summary of what went wrong, what you changed, and any preventive steps I should take. Solid experience with VICIdial internals, Linux CLI, MySQL, Apache, PHP and Asterisk is mandatory because I would like this solved in a single live session if possible. Let me know when you can connect via SSH and I will supply credentials and root access.
