Threshold-Based B2B Platform MVP

I need the core mechanics of a B2B demand-aggregation platform captured in a concise MVP. Using Node.js with Express, PostgreSQL for persistence, and stateless JWT authentication, the build must prove these behaviours end-to-end: • Multi-party quantity commitments that can be amended until a window closes • Automatic transition from commit → lock → execute or expire once a quantity or deadline condition is met • Time-bound participation windows that open, close, and report status in real time This is not an e-commerce cart. UI can stay minimal—simple JSON responses or a bare-bones dashboard are fine—so long as the state machine is rock solid and clearly logged. I value clean, modular code (controllers, services, repositories separated), thorough in-line comments, and a short README that explains setup, environment variables, and the event flow. Please containerise with Docker so I can spin it up quickly, and include a small test suite that covers the critical paths. Acceptance is straightforward: • I can run docker-compose up and register two or more businesses. • They submit commitments, the system locks when the threshold hits, and either executes or expires on schedule. • Endpoints are documented (OpenAPI or similar) and return correct states at each step. This MVP will serve as the backbone for future integrations, so keep the architecture extension-friendly, but don’t build features beyond what’s outlined here.
