Nintendo Controller Technical Artwork Series

I am creating a four-piece physical art series featuring original Nintendo controllers displayed in disassembled form inside square shadow-box frames. The four systems included are: NES SNES Nintendo 64 GameCube Each controller has been fully disassembled, cleaned, restored, and photographed. The final goal is to produce print-ready technical artwork that presents these components in a clear, balanced, and visually consistent layout suitable for physical display. This is not concept art — it is a technical-style layout and design project based on real hardware components, enhanced with diagram-style details. Uniform Collection Requirement (Critical) All four artworks must clearly belong to the same collection. Uniformity is defined by: A shared layout logic and visual structure Consistent use of white space Matching line weights, angles, and diagram styling Consistent typography and label hierarchy Identical logo placement rules across all systems A shared visual language for callouts, circles, and connection lines Each system may have a different internal component arrangement due to hardware differences, but the design system itself must not change. If the four pieces were displayed side-by-side, they should feel intentional, cohesive, and designed as a set. Layout Flexibility (Clarification) Parts may be repositioned if it results in: Better visual balance Improved clarity Cleaner use of space Stronger overall composition However: All parts used must be real and present in the original controller No parts may be invented, duplicated, or omitted Proportions and orientations must remain accurate The final layout should still feel technically honest, not decorative The goal is clarity and presentation, not strict replication of the photographed layout. Artwork Intent & Style The intended style is: Clean Technical Museum / exhibit quality Minimalist, but detailed Think technical exploded-view diagrams, refined for art display, not instructional manuals. Enhancements should: Guide the viewer’s eye Add context and structure Never clutter or overpower the physical components White space is intentional and important. Enhancements to Be Added The designer will add: Clean connection lines Subtle callouts and labels for major components Light diagram-style detailing around items System logo placed consistently (top-center in white space) All enhancements must support the layout and remain consistent across all four systems.
