It is mentioned that what are the similarities and differences in architectures of both the systems.
We have to convert one system into another to make them efficient.
To write a new extended version of paper, you have to start writing from scratch, you can get few material from magazine.

Below are some guidelines regarding writing a journal paper by following the base paper (Magazine paper: Cyber Physical Systems and IoT: Architectural Practices, Interoperability and Transformation). In our magazine paper, we have identified the architectural similarities and differences between IoT and CPS. By checking the differences mentioned in Figure 5 of magazine paper. We will implement these by taking an example of published IoT device/system and CPS device/system. Below are the parameters and the metrics which we have to calculate and represent in a graph. You must provide results in graphs which will be mentioned in paper.
For instance, we have to take a normal temperature controller device, and represent that how sensors in this device calculate the response time, throughput and resource utilization.
You must mention the formulas of response time, throughput and other metrices in the paper.
Now for the comparison of this response time with the smart automatic temperature controller IoT device’ response time, you must calculate the metrices and show the comparison in graphs which will be presented in paper. For the conversion of IoT to CPS, you have to provide the results of performance prediction metrics and 2-3 from self-resilience and self-optimization by taking any example and comparing it.
Furthermore: In the end conclude overall or one by one, that without embedding performance prediction metrics or self-resilience and self-optimization in Iot device, what were the pros and cons and how converting an IoT system into CPS would make IoT more efficient. You can represent pros and cons of “with conversion and without conversion” in a table like TABLE 1 (see table 1 below).
There are also some metrics which are mentioned for conversion of CPS and IoT. You have to take 2-3 from it and take an example of CPS like we took example of temperature controller to convert it in IoT.
