Writers for an Australian blog with a strong understanding of Australian Culture

Hi, We run a large media website in Australia and are looking for a writer who would generally be online and available during the hours of roughly 9-5pm Australian time. The writer can be based in another country assuming their availability lines up with the required timezone, however it is crucial that you have a good understanding and are familiar with Australian slang/culture to fit the strong tone of the website. If you are from overseas, English must be your primary language. In your application please confirm: - that English is your primary language - Advise what websites/pieces you have written in the past - Confirm you are happy to write a small sample article to demonstrate your capabilities Upon application you will be informed of the blog details and will be given a sample to write - this will help make the decision of whether you are the right fit. Looking for someone who is generally available for 2-3 stories per day at the starting rate of $20 per story. Some WordPress work is also required per story. It is not an hourly rate, it is just a flat rate per piece.
