I have extensive experience in advanced process modeling using Aspen Custom Modeler (ACM), including development of first-principles models for separation processes. My work has involved implementing rigorous mass/energy balances, transport phenomena, and custom unit operations integrated with Aspen Plus/HYSYS. For membrane gas separation, I am familiar with solution-diffusion models, permeation flux correlations, and stage-wise modeling approaches consistent with literature such as Merkel et al. (2010). I can develop a fully parameterized ACM model including permeance, selectivity, pressure drop, and thermal effects, and validate it against experimental or published data. I hold a strong background in chemical engineering with research-level modeling experience and have previously built custom ACM modules and subroutines for complex systems.
