In Home Harp Recording Setup

I have my own microphones, stands, cables and laptop‐based DAW, but I need an experienced audio engineer to turn all those pieces into a smooth, reliable recording rig right here in my living room. The goal is simple: capture clean, professional-grade instrumental tracks of my harp. Here is what I need from you • Arrive on-site, evaluate the room’s acoustics and suggest quick, non-invasive treatment if necessary. • Wire, position and test my existing gear (audio interface, condenser and dynamic mics, headphones, monitors). • Set proper gain staging, create a session template in my DAW (Logic Pro X is installed, though I am open to using Reaper or Pro Tools First if you prefer). • Handle the recording session itself—mic placement for harp, level checks, multiple takes, and live monitoring so I can focus on performance. • Provide lightly edited, labelled 24-bit WAV files (separate tracks plus a rough stereo bounce) before you leave or via cloud transfer the same day. Acceptance criteria • No clipping, hum or background noise above −60 dBFS. • Tracks must align to the project tempo grid with consistent file naming. • I can open the session on my own and immediately record new takes without re-patching anything. A solid track record with acoustic instruments is essential; prior experience miking harp, guitar or piano is a bonus.
