I am in need of a basic fingerprint recognition application
The application needs to be written in C# and have a simple GUI
The application will need to work as follows:
- The application will not need to be connected to a fingerprint reader. Fingerprint images will be used. I will provide a dataset of fingerprint images.
- The application will need to have a button that will allow the user to upload a fingerprint to a database. The fingerprint will need to undergo processing and be converted into a template, that will be stored in the database.
- The application will have a second button that will allow the user to input a fingerprint. This fingerprint will need to be compared to all the fingerprints in the database and alert and user if a match has been found, or not.
- No API's can be used and the use of external libraries has to be kept to a minimum.
- As mentioned above, this needs to be very simple.
