Antisense Oligonucleotide Design for Gene Knockdown

Hi there, I’m a Scientist working in the U.S. with a strong background in translational research and cancer biology. I’ve spent several years working in biotechnology research which included projects on gene knockouts with CRISPR (I deleted AAVR gene in HEK293 using CRISPR) and homologous recombination (for deleting HSV genes). I have years of experience using biological databases like ensemble, NCBI, etc. from where I can easily retrieve the desired annotated gene sequence, load them in Snapgene and design ASOs using in-silico tools as well as manually/other ideas (which I can propose based on the research question). I contributed to the development of a gene therapy for a rare genetic disorder (PPRD) at a French biotech company, and I’ve also worked on cancer immunotherapy development in collaboration with leading research institutes, including Harvard Medical School. I'm equipped with both experimental as well as analytic part. I have a publication in AI/ML in BMC journal (one of the top journals), therefore we can also add an AI touch in the starting part of filtering desired oligos.
