I have a character model saved as an FBX that originated in Unity and an animation clip authored in Cascadeur. I have already merged the two inside Blender and confirmed that the motion plays correctly. Now I need the whole package turned into a single GLB that will load quickly and flawlessly inside a web application. I’m unsure which export parameters—textures, compression, animation flags, coordinate system, etc.—are best for web delivery, so I’m counting on you to decide and apply the optimal settings. The goal is a compact, self-contained .glb that preserves PBR materials, correct scale, and smooth animation. Here’s what I need from you: • Inspect my current .blend (or the original FBX files if that’s easier) to verify rig, mesh, materials, and motion. • Configure and run the export so the resulting GLB embeds textures, keeps the animation, and loads without errors in a standard WebGL / [login to view URL] viewer. • Provide the finished .glb plus a brief summary of the export settings you used so I can replicate the process in future. Acceptance criteria – File opens in any online glTF viewer with intact textures and animation. – Reasonable file size for web delivery. – No missing assets, no visual glitches, single self-contained GLB. If you’re comfortable with Blender’s glTF exporter (or have an even better workflow), I’d love to see your approach and results.

I can optimise and export your Blender character and animation into a compact, self-contained GLB ready for web applications. I’ll verify the rig, mesh, PBR materials and animation, configure the best glTF export settings, embed textures, test the file in a WebGL/[login to view URL] viewer and provide a concise settings summary. Regards, Muhammad Mohid Ahmed.

THIS IS A GREAT MATCH. I have just handled a project exporting complex character animations from Blender to GLB for an interactive web app. You need a compact GLB that preserves PBR materials and delivers smooth animations without any hitches. I’ll ensure all textures are embedded, and I'll use optimal export settings for quick loading in WebGL. Plus, I’ll double-check the rig and materials to prevent any surprises later. The process will be clear and straightforward, making it easy for you to replicate in the future. MESSAGE ME, I WILL KEEP THIS SIMPLE. Regards, Stefan.

Hello, I have reviewed your project description regarding exporting an FBX with animation to GLB format. I understand that you require a compact, self-contained GLB file that loads seamlessly in a web application while preserving PBR materials, correct scale, and smooth animation. I am experienced in working with Blender's glTF exporter and can ensure that the export parameters are optimized for web delivery. I will inspect the current .blend file, configure the export settings to embed textures and maintain animation integrity, and provide you with the finalized GLB file along with a summary of the export settings used. Your satisfaction with the end result is my priority. I look forward to discussing the project details further with you. Best regards, Aqsa

Getting FBX-to-GLB right for web delivery is mostly about the export flags people overlook, not the conversion itself. I'll inspect your .blend to verify the rig, materials, and animation, then export a single self-contained .glb with embedded textures, correct PBR node mapping, and the animation baked properly. You'll get the final file plus a short doc of every export setting so you can repeat the process yourself. One thing worth noting: Blender's glTF exporter defaults to +Y up, but Unity uses +Y too, so the coordinate system should carry over cleanly. The real gotcha is texture compression. I'll apply Draco for geometry and KTX2/Basis for textures to keep the file size low without visible quality loss in Three.js. 1) Are there multiple texture maps (normal, roughness, metallic) or is it a single diffuse material? Happy to talk details in chat. Shayan

Hey — saw your post about exporting FBX with animation to GLB. One common snag is keeping animation data intact during the conversion. Are you using any specific tools or scripts for the export now? I’ve handled similar Unity FBX to GLB workflows and know how to preserve animation clips cleanly. If you send your FBX and animation clip, I can take a quick look and advise on the best approach.

I can help you export your FBX character model with animation to a GLB format efficiently. I have experience working with Unity assets and converting them while preserving animation integrity. My approach ensures the animation clips remain intact and compatible within the GLB file for seamless use in WebGL or other 3D platforms. Do you already have the animation clips separated, or should I extract and bake them during the export?
