Intermediate Trained Architectural Designer (Revit Specialist)

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Trained Architectural Designer with a specialization in Revit for residential and commercial projects. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating and developing architectural designs using Revit software, collaborating with project teams, and contributing to the successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience working with Revit, experience working in an Architecture office and a strong background in both residential and commercial design.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with architects and design teams to develop architectural designs using Revit software.

Produce high-quality architectural drawings, plans, sections, and details for residential and commercial projects.

Assist in the preparation and coordination of design development and construction documents.

Ensure that designs comply with building codes, regulations, and project requirements.

Participate in project meetings and provide design support and input.

Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to address design-related issues.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Revit software.

Contribute to the development and implementation of Revit standards and best practices within the firm.

Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years of professional experience working as an Architectural Designer, with a focus on residential and commercial projects.

Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is essential. Strong knowledge of other design software (AutoCAD, Enscape, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Suite, etc.) is a plus.

Excellent understanding of architectural design principles, construction techniques, and building codes.

Demonstrated experience in producing high-quality architectural drawings and construction documents using Revit.

Solid knowledge of building systems, materials, and construction methods.

Ability to effectively communicate design ideas and collaborate with project teams.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address design-related challenges.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A portfolio showcasing previous architectural design work is required.

Note: Office experience is considered an advantage but not a strict requirement for this position.
