Financial Analysis Coaching for Entrepreneurship

I’m preparing to launch my own venture and want to build a solid foundation in financial analysis so I can make informed decisions from day one. My background in finance is limited, so I’m looking for a mentor who can walk me through the essentials—reading financial statements, ratio analysis, cash-flow forecasting, break-even, valuation—and then help me apply that knowledge directly to my business idea. I learn best through a mix of live explanation and hands-on practice. Screen-shared lessons, real-world examples, and plenty of feedback on my own models will keep me motivated. Excel or Google Sheets will be our main tools; if you have templates or simple financial-modeling frameworks you like to use, even better. Deliverables • Initial video call to map my current level and agree on a tailored syllabus • 6–8 interactive sessions (about 60–90 minutes each), scheduled flexibly • Homework exercises with your written or video feedback after every session • A final project where I build a 12-month cash-flow model for my planned business and you review it line by line Acceptance criteria By the end of our time together, I should be able to: • Confidently interpret income statements, balance sheets, and cash-flow statements • Calculate and explain key performance ratios • Build a cash-flow forecast and basic valuation that stands up to your critique If this fits your expertise, please tell me briefly about your teaching approach, your experience in financial analysis, and any sample materials or success stories you can share.
