Hello, I can help you because I know how to evaluate fillet welds for steel and aluminium strucure. Here in EU we use for this standard EN 1993 and EN 1999. Main goals it is extract Axial and Shear forces from weld throat and according to equations evaluate fillet weld. Also we used metodology for preparing weld joint as in International Institute of Welding, like mesh and which nodes shold be take ot account and which do not . So please feel free ask me . Also I would like to see the 3d model or sketch etc.
