I need a compact chain-and-pulley assembly whose sole job is to transfer rotary motion from one shaft to another. I want all load-bearing parts—sprockets, shafts, brackets—machined from steel, while ancillary elements such as guards or spacer plates can be aluminum to keep overall weight down. The exact chain style is still open; you can advise whether a standard roller chain, a silent chain, or another profile will give the smoothest motion at moderate speed (≈30 RPM) with minimal backlash and noise. I will test fit and load-run the first article here; once it turns smoothly and meets alignment within 0.1 mm, the job is complete and full payment releases.
