I’m rolling out a new CCTV system for a commercial site and want complete, reliable coverage. The cameras must watch over all entrances and exits, our internal office spaces, and the surrounding parking areas. High-definition recording is essential, and each unit has to perform well at night while remaining accessible remotely through a secure app or web dashboard. Here’s what I’ll look for when handing the job over: • Detailed placement plan that proves every entry point, office corridor, and parking bay is in view. • Supply, mount, and wire the cameras, NVR/DVR, and any PoE switches or power injectors needed. • Configure HD recording, night-vision settings, and encrypted remote access so I can log in from phone or desktop without exposing the network. • Final hand-over package: as-built drawings, device list with models and firmware, and a short training session for my staff. System testing must show clear daytime and low-light footage, uninterrupted recording for at least 48 hours, and remote viewing that connects first time, every time.
