My hydro-turbine prototype is ready for a dedicated steady-state CFD investigation. I need high-quality insight into the internal flow field so I can finalise blade angles and runner clearances before moving on to structural checks. Scope • Build or refine a 3-D mesh of the full water passage (inlet, runner, draft tube). • Run fully turbulent, incompressible, steady-state simulations, capturing pressure, velocity, and turbulence parameters. • Extract performance curves (head, discharge, efficiency) across several operating points and flag any separation or cavitation-prone regions. • Supply clear visualisations (contours, streamlines, vector plots) and a concise report that translates the numbers into practical design tweaks. Tools I’m flexible on software as long as it is a proven CFD package outside the usual ANSYS / OpenFOAM / COMSOL trio—STAR-CCM+, CFX, Simcenter or anything comparable is fine. Please outline your proposed solver, turbulence model, and meshing strategy in your bid. Acceptance The work is complete when I receive: 1. Source files for geometry, mesh, and solver setup. 2. Convergence history and raw result files. 3. A short PDF (≈5 pages) summarising methodology, key plots, and design recommendations.
