I’m looking for a designer who can take an ESP32-S3-WROOM-1-based concept all the way from schematic capture through to a production-ready PCB. The board will integrate a Wiznet W5500 for hard-wired Ethernet and must expose several data-acquisition ports: dedicated digital inputs, UART/SPI/I2C headers, plus one custom input block whose exact signalling I’ll share once we start. The power will come from an external supply or POE. In additon we need an internal LiPo battery backup and charger. We will be using schematics and proven designs from existing ESP32-S3 development boards. These are from WaveShare, Olimex, and Lilygo. We will be using bits and pieces from each of their existing schematics. Mechanical fit is important. I’ll supply STEP files and mounting details for the enclosure, so the layout needs to respect that outline while keeping RF performance and Ethernet magnetics in mind. I expect: • complete, tidy schematics (KiCad, Altium or similar) (KiCad prefered) • a manufacturable PCB layout matched to the enclosure, This may occur in two phases. One a prototype phase using an off the shelf ESP32 module then add the ESP32 function to our board. • Gerbers, pick-and-place, BOM and 3D step files, • brief design notes so my firmware team can bring the board up quickly. If you have prior experience marrying ESP32 modules with W5500 and can balance signal integrity with tight mechanical constraints, let’s talk timing and any questions you may have. Hi there, I carefully read your project description, and this fits very well with my experience in ESP32-based embedded hardware and production PCB design. I can help take the ESP32-S3-WROOM-1 + W5500 concept from schematic capture through to a manufacturable PCB while respecting the enclosure constraints and RF/Ethernet layout requirements. I’m Samuel Tshibangu, a mechatronics engineer with several years of hands-on experience in KiCad/Altium PCB design, ESP32 systems, Ethernet integration, LiPo charging/power management, embedded interfaces, and production-ready hardware development. I’ve already worked with ESP32 modules, SPI Ethernet devices, battery-backed systems, and compact multilayer layouts, so I can move quickly and keep the design robust and practical. I understand the value of leveraging proven reference schematics from Waveshare, Olimex, and LilyGO, and I can help merge the best parts into a clean, maintainable design. I’m also comfortable with the phased workflow using an off-the-shelf module first before integrating the ESP32 circuitry directly onto the board. Feel free to send me the mechanical files and interface requirements so we can discuss the timeline and architecture. Best regards, Samuel Tshibangu

Marrying an ESP32-S3-WROOM-1 with a W5500 means two RF-sensitive domains on one board — the module’s antenna keep-out and the Ethernet magnetics both demand respect, and the LiPo charger adds a third power path to arbitrate cleanly against POE and external supply. The phased approach (off-the-shelf module first, integrated module second) is the right way to de-risk it. Why me? • Designed complex, miniaturized PCBs across ESP32, STM32, Nordic nRF, and Raspberry Pi platforms. • Hands-on with ESP32-S3-WROOM-1 integration — antenna keep-out zones, RF reference planes, and module-to-custom-board migration. • Experienced with W5500 Ethernet layouts including magnetics placement, differential pair routing, and isolation. • Comfortable managing multi-source power — POE, external supply, and LiPo charge/backup arbitration on one rail. • Fluent in KiCad with clean schematics, enclosure-matched layouts, and complete Gerber/CPL/BOM/STEP packages. • response within 2 minutes during work hours. Happy to jump on a short call to review the reference designs and mechanical files before kickoff.

Hi, your project matches my experience very closely — especially ESP32-based industrial/embedded boards that combine Ethernet, battery backup, mixed interfaces, and mechanically constrained layouts intended for production. I have 10+ years of PCB and embedded hardware experience and completed 100+ multilayer boards including ESP32-S3, W5500 Ethernet, LiPo charging/power-path systems, PoE interfaces, and RF-sensitive layouts prepared for manufacturing and enclosure integration. Approach ✅ I will develop clean KiCad schematics using proven reference sections from WaveShare, Olimex, and LilyGO designs while optimizing power architecture, Ethernet integration, battery backup, and interface protection for production reliability. ✅ I will execute the PCB layout in phases if desired, starting with a prototype using an off-the-shelf ESP32 module before optionally integrating the ESP32 circuitry directly onto the final production board. ✅ I will optimize RF keep-outs, Ethernet differential routing, grounding, PoE/power distribution, LiPo charging paths, and enclosure alignment using your STEP data before generating complete manufacturing outputs and 3D deliverables. Questions ✅ Which PoE standard and input voltage range should the board support alongside the LiPo backup system? ✅ What approximate enclosure dimensions and PCB layer-count constraints are expected for the final hardware? Best, Yaroslav
