What I need is a working .mph file that runs to completion under the Time Dependent solver while preserving the current physics definitions (conjugate heat transfer, turbulence, and material properties). Hi, I hope you are doing well. I am a graduate researcher and my thesis work was with the industry collaboration. In this project I modeled the 3D transformer with a detailed thermal analysis of a 3500 kVA oil-immersed transformer using COMSOL Multiphysics. I did this project with the collaboration of Pak Elektron Limited (PEL), one of Pakistan's leading transformer manufacturers. This project involved the integration of heat transfer, laminar flow, and electromagnetic heating modules in COMSOL. The model of the transformer simulated fluid-solid interactions and internal heat generation under both normal and short-circuit conditions. I applied CFD using the nonisothermal flow multiphysics coupling in COMSOL to simulate temperature driven natural convection in transformer oil. The main purpose of this was to analyze the temperature of each component of the transformer. It will help in analyzing the overheating in transformers which is one of the critical issues in such appliances. So having that extensive industrial experience of solving heat transfer problems make me an ideal candidate for this project.
