I'm looking for a professional to create an educational video on home inspections, aimed at first-time home buyers. The video will serve to guide them through the inspection process. The video should cover: - A detailed overview of the home inspection process Ideal candidates will have: - Experience in video production and editing - Knowledge of home inspection procedures - Ability to present information clearly and engagingly - Experience creating content for first-time home buyers (Mention of the contingency period) Typically, after an offer is accepted on a home, the buyer will call, text or visit our website [login to view URL] to schedule their home inspection. The client can ask questions or make decisions on additional add-ons to their home inspection, such as radon testing, sewer scopes or mold testing. Our company will schedule the inspection and will send out a confirmation if the inspection date/time works for all parties. We will reach out to reschedule if there are any scheduling conflicts. The buyer will receive an email confirmation with inspection agreements that must be signed before the inspection can take place. They also must pay their inspection fee at that time. If these things are not completed, it could interfere with the inspection. We like to schedule the inspection for a 4-hour window and it's best for the buyer to show up the last hour for the walk through so our inspector can go over their findings. They can attend the entire time, but they need to allow the home inspector space and focus so they can provide a thorough inspection. Our lead home inspector has over 25 years of construction expertise. After the walk-through, the client should receive their home inspection report via email within 24 hours. If additional services are requested, such as radon testing or mold testing, those tests may require additional time. The client should discuss the report findings with their real estate agent and decide how to proceed, whether to request repairs, credits or a price adjustment.
