Hello, I would love to design and create a custom Medieval Knight costume tailored specifically for a wheelchair user. My approach combines authentic medieval aesthetics with thoughtful adaptive design, ensuring the costume is both visually impressive and comfortable, safe, and functional. For this project, I would design a lightweight armor system (crafted from EVA foam, Worbla, or thermoplastics) shaped to accommodate seated posture and mobility needs. The tunic and cape would be constructed for comfort while seated, with strategic closures (hidden Velcro, magnetic fastenings, or side zippers) to make dressing easy. The shield can be mounted or reinforced for wheelchair attachment if desired, and the sword designed as a lightweight prop. The helmet can be modified for comfort, ventilation, and clear visibility. I have experience creating medieval and fantasy costumes and adapting garments for mobility devices, always prioritizing safety, durability, and visual impact. I would provide concept sketches, material recommendations, and a clear production timeline before beginning fabrication.
