I run a busy mortgage brokerage that serves clients in both Dutch and English. To keep our pipeline moving smoothly, I want to hand off the client on-boarding stage to a reliable freelancer who can communicate fluently in both languages. Your day-to-day work will revolve around three key activities: collecting client information, guiding them as they gather the required paperwork, and helping them understand the mortgage options we present. Most interactions happen by email and phone, so clear written Dutch, friendly phone etiquette, and prompt follow-ups are essential. Typical flow • Receive a new lead summary from me. • Reach out within 24 hours (email first, then phone if needed). • Gather all personal and financial documentation, checking for completeness and accuracy. • Populate our internal forms and update the CRM so our advisors see everything at a glance. • Flag any missing items or questions and keep the client updated until the file is “advisor-ready”. Acceptance criteria • Every file you submit includes all mandatory documents on our checklist. • Notes in the CRM are bilingual, concise, and time-stamped. • Clients feel informed about their mortgage choices and report a positive onboarding experience. If you are organised, proactive, and comfortable switching between Dutch and English throughout the day, this collaboration should fit you well.
