Off the map holidays

I’m scaling the business-travel arm of my agency and need seasoned consultants who can take a trip from first inquiry to post-journey follow-up. Most requests come from professionals traveling for meetings, conferences, and site visits, both within the country and overseas, so speed, accuracy, and policy awareness are critical. Your core work begins with a discovery call or email to pinpoint the traveler’s goals, preferred carriers, loyalty programs, and any budget or policy limits. From there you will: • Build an itinerary that aligns with the meeting schedule, suggesting at least two flight and hotel combinations via Amadeus, Sabre, or a comparable GDS. • Prepare one clear quotation that rolls flights, hotels, ground transfers, and insurance into a single figure, flagging any penalties or fare-rules the traveler should know. • Secure bookings, issue tickets, and liaise with hotel partners, providing immediate confirmation numbers. • Coordinate visas or travel authorisations when required, tracking document status and reminding clients of deadlines. • Remain the primary point of contact before, during, and after travel, handling reissues, cancellations, or on-trip disruptions quickly and professionally. Success is measured trip-by-trip: a completed travel pack (PDF and editable file), confirmed services delivered on or under the quoted price, and a satisfied traveler who is willing to book again.
