Build an Excel-based workbook that lets me enter actual labour, material and overhead figures for each project and automatically rolls everything up into Job Costing schedules as well as full financial statements. The file has to generate a Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow Statement, each available in two views: a clean summary for management and a drill-down tab that shows every underlying transaction. PivotTables, linked worksheets or Power Query—whatever keeps the model fast and transparent—are fine as long as the logic is clearly documented.
