I work as a computer programmer under contract. I find contracts by going through job sites but I am looking for temporary contracts instead of permanent employment. Your job is to go through job sites searching for jobs for me, send me the information, I approve of it, and you apply to those jobs using my information and resume. Leave the bid blank and indicate how much you would charge for each job that is applied to. There is no actual budget because it is long term. There are 6 steps: 1. Find jobs. 2. Keep a spreadsheet of the jobs. 3. Keep a spreadsheet of questions. 4. Snip each form. 5. Send me the jobs and snips for my approval. 6. I pay you periodically. DETAILS As much details as are allowed are below, but the complete specs are in attached file: Find and Apply to Contract Programming Jobs for Me Specs 1. Find temporary contract programming jobs for a MUMPS / M / Cache Programmer / Developer. It can be from anywhere. I list the 31 biggest sites that I know sorted by the number of MUMPS jobs I once found there. Keep a spreadsheet of the sites with 3 columns: Name, Mnemonic (you make up), clickable URL. The job must say 4 things. The Job Title or Job Description contains at least one keyword from each of 3 lists, and nothing from a 4th list. You can add to the lists of keywords if you wish and I will say if I agree. The keywords are after the colons. a. It is MUMPS: MUMPS, M, Cache b. It is a programmer: Programmer, Developer , Software Engineer NOT Analyst, DBA, Database Administrator c. It is a contract rather than permanent: Contract, temporary, assignment, consultant NOT Permanent, Employment d. NOT: Coventry, Henry Elliott 2. Keep a spreadsheet of the jobs. Keep adding to the same spreadsheet until it has more than 100 jobs. Then remove the first 50 by Sequential Job Number (g.) a. Job Title b. State c. City d. Company Name e. First sentence from job description. f. Source Mnemonic (from 1) g. Sequential Job Number (add 1 for each job you find.) h. Clickable URL of a page that describes only this job i. Email Address for applying (if any) j. Keyword that matches 1.a MUMPS k. Keyword for 1.b Programmer l. Keyword for 1.c Contract m. Status: BLANK (you set), Yes or No (I set) Two jobs with the same Job Title and Company Name are duplicates. Two jobs with the same Job Title, City and State are duplicates. Don't add any job that is a duplicate of another job that is already in the spreadsheet. 3. Keep a spreadsheet of Questions: Question (you fill in) and Answer (I fill in.) Send it whenever there is a question that you don't know the answer to and I will fill in the answer to use and return it. 4. For each job, take a Snipping Tool snip of each form with questions, either all blank or all filled in. If there are no forms but an email address to send the resume to, make a snip of the text statement that includes the email address. The file names used for Sequential Job Number 5 are A005, A005a, A005b, etc. 5. Whenever you stop working on the spreadsheet, send it to me so I can answer while you sleep or do other things. Send me the Jobs spreadsheet with the Status column (m) blank and the snip image files with each form either all blank or all filled in. I will fill in the Status: a. Blank, I say YES: Fill in the forms and send it to me again. b. Blank, I say NO: I explain what is wrong and you are finished with this job. c. Filled In, I say YES: Apply for the job. The next time you send in the spreadsheet include one more snip, of the screen message displayed after you apply for the job. d. Filled In, I say NO: I explain what is wrong and you are finished with this job. You will have to decide how you want to do this - blank or filled in first, and how you want to keep screens that you filled in but didn't submit to their site yet. See attached document for complete specs. Charlie
