After we verified that they have an active policy that covers DME we then review their clinical notes and making sure that the clinical notes contains the right information required by the insurance. If the clinical notes are insufficient we are calling the doctors office and hospitals to request for the needed docs. When qualifying clinical notes we also have to make sure that we obtain authorization from the insurance (if needed) then secure certificate of medical necessity. Then we call the patients to let them know that status of their order. Skills: Data Entry, MS Word, Excel, quickbooks, Powerpoint, email handling, administrative tasks, customer service.
