DataStage-Netezza Integration Specialist

I have several source systems that need to be consolidated into an IBM Netezza warehouse, and I want the entire flow built and managed in IBM DataStage. Your core focus will be data integration: designing, developing, and tuning DataStage jobs that land clean, well-modeled data into Netezza on a repeatable schedule. You should be comfortable setting up connection objects, handling complex transformations, managing large volumes, and troubleshooting performance issues unique to the DataStage-Netezza combination. I’m also counting on you to put basic operational controls in place—parameter sets, restartability, error logging—so the solution is production-ready from day one. When you respond, walk me through the DataStage and Netezza projects you’ve delivered before, the challenges you faced, and how you solved them. I’m especially interested in examples that show measurable improvements in load time, data quality, or maintainability. Deliverables I expect: • Fully developed DataStage jobs and sequencers that populate Netezza tables • Job control scripts or schedules ready for deployment • A hand-off document or quick video explaining configuration, run procedures, and recovery steps Once these items are in place and tested against my sample data, we can move to production and discuss any follow-on optimization work.
