Hi. I head up IROS, a boutique marketing research company with offices in India, UAE & KSA. One of our regular clients wants to undertake a comprehensive survey on the education system in Qatar, which will involve interviewing students, parents and teachers. Apart from the survey which we will be handling, one of the elements requested is to scan various social media platforms for insights and sentiment on the issues covered in the survey i.e. any references to education in Qatar, how good or bad it is, what steps do people know that the government is taking to improve the quality and what they feel about the same etc. Presently, this is what we have about the requirements – the brief is likely to be detailed later. However, the client is keen to get an idea about the likely costs of such an exercise. I am getting in touch to check if there are any Arab freelance data analysts who can provide the services required for the above exercise I need to know – • Whether this is an assignment you can/ would like to take up? • What normally are the parameters for collecting such information and insights? How would you go about it and what kind of actionable insights will the client be able to see at the end of the exercise? • What kind of costs (ballpark costs are fine) would this entail e.g. for analysis covering last 1 year? • Have you done anything similar in the past?
