Multi-Source Executive Dashboard Build

I’m consolidating three very different data feeds—structured PDFs, live Excel workbooks, and a SQL database—into one clear, interactive dashboard geared toward our department-level leadership team. The end product must let a manager glance at it and immediately understand current performance, trends, and outliers without hunting through raw files. Data feeds • PDFs arrive weekly and follow a consistent layout. • Excel sheets are updated daily and already sit on SharePoint. • The SQL database (Azure) holds transactional records and updates in real time. Scope of work You will design the data-prep flow that extracts and normalises each source, then build the visual layer. KPI definitions are still evolving, so the layout needs to be flexible enough to host sales, customer-satisfaction, operational-efficiency, and any other metrics we finalise. Drill-through to detail, export to PDF/PowerPoint, and simple filter controls are essential. Preferred stack If you have a strong case for Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or an equally capable BI tool, make it. Whichever platform we choose, please plan for automated refreshes and minimal manual touches. Acceptance criteria • All three data sources refresh on a defined schedule with no errors. • Department managers can open the dashboard and see accurate numbers that match the source systems. • Page load time stays under five seconds on standard corporate laptops. • A short hand-off guide (data model, refresh settings, measure definitions) is delivered so my internal analyst can maintain it.
