Textile Import Landed Cost Desktop

I need a standalone desktop application that will let our team plug cost component involved in bringing textile products into the United States and see the true landed cost per unit in real time. Core functions • Tariff calculation – For each SKU I will enter the HTS code, country-of-origin and quantity; the program should return the correct U.S. tariff rate and apply it automatically. • Shipping cost estimation – I want to enter carton or container dimensions, weight, and departure/destination ports, then have the program calculate freight, insurance and handling so the total cost per piece updates immediately. Because we work exclusively with textiles, presets for common fabric HS codes, duty-free thresholds and quota alerts would speed up data entry. An editable table of costs (inspection fees, brokerage, inland drayage, etc.) must sit alongside the tariff and freight numbers so I can tweak assumptions and watch the landed cost figure adjust on screen. Key expectations • Runs offline on Windows 10/11. An installer or single executable is fine. • Clean, Excel-style interface with import/export to .xlsx and .csv. • All formulas visible or easily auditable; no locked black-box logic. • Future-proof structure so additional modules—such as customs duty tracking—can be bolted on later without rewriting the core. Acceptance criteria A sample data set of five textile SKUs will be provided. When I load it and press “Calculate,” the program must output accurate tariff, freight and final landed cost values that reconcile to our spreadsheet within ±0.1%. Deliverables are the compiled application, well-commented source code, and a brief user guide. If you prefer working in Python (PyInstaller), C# (.NET), or another desktop-friendly stack, let me know in your approach; I am flexible as long as installation is straightforward and the UI remains snappy on mid-range laptops.
