Hi! Depending on your budget for components different options could be considered. One of the options is to use specific Laser drivers to control each part of the matrix element and use a main MCU to control everything. Laser diodes are driven by current according to their principle of operation, so some of the specialized drivers contain a monitoring option as feedback if not separate current sensors could be used.
