Hello! My name is Kevin. I am a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer in a Research and Development lab for a large factory. I design, build and test custom automated industrial testing and fabrication equipment. As well as new products, hardware, and product upgrades. I am very familiar with several forms and methods of manufacturing and production of products. I also do an extensive amount of 3D modeling, assemblies, simulation, CAD drawings and CNC programming/Soft Jaw and Fixture design. I am skilled in cad drawings, and obsessed with precision (many of my CNC parts are quite rapidly machined and hold accuracy down to within <.001") I am also skilled in PCB design, having started my journey into digital electronics in 2009, and do all of the electrical and PCB design work for the company and our products. I take a great deal of pride in my work, ensuring that the work I preform is accurate, complete, efficient, and profitable. I am intending to move more into freelancing, because I wish to work from home out of my own lab and workshop. Currently, my PCB layout program experience is with Autodesk Eagle software. I do have a professional copy of this program at home, and have created many SMD pad layouts and package/part files with it. I consult the manufacturers data sheet to create precise and accurate layouts, with schematic symbols. Though, I am a very fast learner, and have no issue learning new software if you need these files from the PADS software.
