Our SATR opto electronic system for combat simulation has 3 versions of firmware. The latest version 3.8 works fine with the Vishay TSOP1156 head sensor. The earlier versions on the same PCB only work properly with the TSOP31256 infrared receiver. We need the earlier firmware to work on the current hardware so they function properly with the TSOP1156 sensor. The project is to fix any firmware issues in the driver and/or identify change needed to the circuit board design
