About Us: Maptec Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-based mapping and geographic information systems (GIS) technology company. We have recently established a branch in Malaysia and are navigating local regulatory frameworks. The Role: We are seeking a reliable local liaison (Malaysian Citizen) to assist us on a pay-per-task/freelance basis. Your primary responsibility will be to accompany our Overseas Business Manager to the Department of Survey and Mapping Malaysia (JUPEM) to assist with official licensing and business applications. Core Responsibilities & Deliverables: • In-Person Accompaniment: Accompany our team to JUPEM offices for document submission, identity verification, and administrative procedures. • Local Representation: Act as the local Malaysian contact person for specific administrative steps where local citizenship is a mandatory requirement. • Coordination: Maintain clear, prompt, and courteous communication regarding scheduling and the status of visits. Requirements: • Must be a Malaysian Citizen holding a valid NRIC. • Fluent in both English and Bahasa Malaysia for effective communication with government officials. • Professional demeanor with the flexibility to attend ad-hoc, in-person meetings during standard government working hours. • Prior experience in administrative liaison, legal assistance, or corporate services is highly preferred but not strictly required. Compensation: * Pay-per-visit / Pay-per-task (Rate to be discussed and agreed upon prior to each visit).
