Campus Leader – Smarter India Scholarship Program

We are selecting 25 student leaders across India to represent the Smarter India Logical Reasoning & Aptitude Scholarship (Total award: ₹4,00,000). (Reviewing the scholarship is optional but recommended, as you will be representing it on your campus.) **What You Will Do** 1) Liaison & Representation (a) Act as the student point of contact between your college ecosystem (Placement Cell, student clubs, societies) and the Smarter India scholarship team. (b) Help initiate formal communication channels where required on your campus (faculty coordinators, club heads, student welfare offices). 2) Community Outreach (Trust-First) (a) Share scholarship information strategically and responsibly within relevant student and youth communities, including but not limited to: - Peer networks within your own institution (class groups like WhatsApp, student clubs, societies). - Student groups and academic communities in your local area or city (e.g., nearby colleges, schools, coaching circles, etc). - Regional student networks where you have genuine access or credibility (friends studying in other institutions, inter-college groups, district-level student communities). 3) In addition to group-based outreach, you may be required to: (a) Identify and document relevant institutions in your surrounding area (nearby colleges, universities, schools) where the scholarship may be circulated responsibly that will benefit deserving students. (b) Locate official contact points (such as placement cells, student welfare offices, faculty coordinators, or club representatives) for these institutions and share the verified contact details with the Smarter India team. (c) Support the team in expanding outreach beyond a single campus, while ensuring all communication remains respectful, transparent, and aligned with the scholarship’s values. All outreach must strictly follow our zero-spam policy and use only approved communication formats. Ambassadors are expected to prioritise quality, relevance, and trust over volume. This is NOT a sales/marketing role. You are not expected to “sell” anything or chase people. The goal is simple: help your campus/community become aware of a scholarship opportunity in a respectful, trust-first way so it benefits the students for their careers or financial support. **Who We Are Looking For** (a) You are Indian resident (b) You are a current student or a member of a college society, placement committee, student council, local community or similar body. (b) You communicate clearly and professionally (no informal or SMS-style language). **Stipends/Rewards & Incentives** 1) Stipend & Long-Term Opportunity (a) Fixed stipend of ₹1,000 for the initial engagement period, payable upon satisfactory completion of assigned responsibilities. (b) Performance-based incentives may be awarded for high-quality outreach and verified outcomes. (c) Long-term collaboration opportunities may be offered to consistently high-performing Campus Leaders as the scholarship initiative expands, including extended roles, higher stipends, or future paid projects. 2) Learning & Skill Development Resources (a) One-month access to LinkedIn Learning (approx. value ₹2,800), providing structured courses on communication, leadership, professional skills, and career development or whatever courses you plan to take.. (b) Free access to Smarter India’s Logical Reasoning course (value ₹600), supporting aptitude preparation for placements and competitive examinations. 3) Certificate of Leadership (a) A verified certificate highlighting your role in Campus Community & Outreach Management. 4) Letter of Recommendation (LOR) (a) Awarded to the top 20% performers, suitable for professional applications. 5) Leadership Exposure & Professional Interaction (a) Direct interaction with the Smarter India leadership team and with professors and academic professionals from leading universities in India and the United States associated with the scholarship initiative. Performance, professionalism, and reliability during this engagement will be key factors in identifying candidates for continued association.
