BrandForYear - SEARCH DATABASE

This project is about creating a brand-search database (ACTUALLY 19000 RECORDS) encompassing several motorcycle application-lists, on the basis of the guidelines herebelow reported. You are kindly asked to: • UPDATES THE LIST OF APPLICATIONS ON THE BASIS OF THE CATALOG •unify the whole file in which the models and the brand are in capital letters; •duplicate the line when you come across “/” (slash) in column E (models) and to write each model per line. [i.e. 821 MONSTER/DARK ] = [821 MONSTER] [821 DARK] • when coming across an alphanumerical model in column E (models), separate by 1 shift alpha part from numerical one [i.e. 748R = 748 R] • when coming across “extended model name / 1 letter only” in column E (models), duplicate the line by keeping extended model name in the first line and by reporting extended model name followed by the 1-letter code in the second line. [i.e. 1299 PANIGALE/S/R] = [1299 PANIGALE] [1299 PANIGALE S] [1299 PANIGALE R ] •duplicate the line when you come across “/” (slash) in column D (CC) and to write each displacement per line. [i.e. 796/800 796 MONSTER = 796 796 MONSTER 800 796 MONSTER ] • duplicate the line when you come across “/” (slash) both in column D (CC) and in column E (models) by associating per line the first displacement with the first model (and so on and so forth).
