I work for a Direct mail company. We have a client in which we print mass quantities of pieces ahead of time and then twice a week they place an order for each of the pieces. The numbers can vary pretty greatly and instead of taking an inventory every time there is an order I want to the ability to enter in the number and have it deduct from the total inventory. The issue I am having is though once I delete that number it takes it out of the ending inventory as well. I do not want to have to continue adding columns for every new order as I want to keep the main page of the excel file as simplistic as possible to eliminate the chance of errors from multiple different data entry points. That being said every time there is a new entry I would like it to copy the data to a second sheet in order to track trends etc.

Hi there, I suggest to have the data stack in a columnar layout instead of a static tabular layout. have a simple entry form that where you can input the new orders or new inventories. Once you have it, everything can be easily manipulated using a standard pivot table. If you have ample time, I would like to show you a video demo of what I talking about tomorrow. Hello, I could put a button on top of sheet 1 which when you push it will: 1) Copy the figures in the 'Remaining' column over to the 'Inventory at Hand' column (values only no formulas). 2). Clear all the figures in the 'Current Order' column to zero so you can start again. What do you do when stock comes in? I could add another column to sheet 1 for incoming stock.

This is so that you can generate reports more easily from it. So I would suggest we have a discussion to understand your workflow better. Hi First of all - do You prefer Excel? Dont You want to go to GoogleSheet for this scope? 2 - im not sure i understood You right. Can You explain more detailed? As I understood there are three process parts a) You have some basic inventory value for each product b) You have some basic order (lets say -15000) c) every time You add new order You want it also to be added to basic order (independent of how many times it was done I can provide some kind of MACROS - e.g. a microprogram inside of Excel/Google Sheet (google sheet is preferred) + add new sheet where You will put a new order then click button "REGISTER" and it will automatically calculate new values. If You want to see all the history of orders - we can use a new sheet where will be some kind of log of all orders My condition is 60$ initial milestone Lets chat
