Excel Macro VBA - assistance with VLookup in VBA Hello The purpose of the macro is to process each row, and when there is a certain condition, correct the entry in the cell. I am using (attempting to use) VLookup to access the values in the 2nd sheet and correct the values in the first sheet of the workbook. Receiving the following error when running a excel macro. The workbook has 2 sheets Sheet 1 - contains the data that is being corrected Sheet 2 - contains the lookup table with the correct values Ie. Sheet 1 Sheet 2 Sheet 1 Correction Country Look up Correct to U.S.A U.S.A UA USA USA US U.S.A U.S.A US Keep getting the following msg Run-time error '1004' Unable to get the VLookup property of the WorksheetFunction class This is the offending line of code as far as I know NewValue = [login to view URL](LookupValue, LookupRange, 2, False) Timezone is EST Time requirement - on 12/7 or 2/8. The goal is to 1) Get this routine to work properly 2) If possible - have the lookuptable in a separate workbook, instead of the same workbook. Thanks

BETTER IDEA! Using VLOOKUP is not very flexible. I can program a VBA code to search in any data matrix. I already have similar code for flexible searching where you can insert different option in the same search incluiding logical concatenators. ie: Must contain "abc"and "12" + must not contain "z" or "w" etc. I'm an engineer with advanced working knowledge and experience in Excel VBA and VBA interaction between different software (Word, excel, powerpoint, access, autocad etc.).
