Hello, I am an experienced software engineer with approximately 10 years of professional experience programming in Python, C++, and Java. During that time I've been exposed to many other languages including VBA. In fact, for my previous job, I spent a large portion of my time converting VB6 to C# in order to modernize our codebase. I am also experienced working with large datasets using Python, in particular, the Pandas library which I would highly recommend over the native CSV functionality packaged with Python. I have a master's degree in computer science wherein I worked with very large datasets (> 10GB) for my deep learning and data science thesis and research projects using these libraries. I believe I can easily create this matching program for you using efficient Python libraries with back-ends all written in lower-level languages such as C and C++. If you prefer using C++ to maximize the performance of this matching engine that's no problem either. Additionally, CPU/GPU multithreading isn't an issue for me, but I doubt we will need to use it in this case. I can provide numerous examples of Python and C++ projects I have worked on upon request. I also have extensively used other freelancing platforms so I can provide references to my reviews on those sites to attest to my quality of work.
