Experienced software professional with 20 years in design, development and maintenance of applications. Based on my experience, Excel will not be able to take the load and maintenance will become a problem for you. If you are the only person who will be maintaining the data, then the best option will be is to create an Access Database with Forms for data capturing and reports. If you need the reports to be circulated as Excel files, that can be done but will take some effort to get them formatted automatically.
