Hi — a bar bending schedule for the slab is straightforward to lay out in Excel once I can see the reinforcement details. I'd tabulate it the usual way: bar mark, shape/type, dia, number of bars, cutting length (with the standard hook and bend allowances), then total length and weight per diameter, plus a summary that rolls up the steel quantity for the whole slab. To get it right I'll need the slab drawing or the reinforcement details — bar diameters, spacing, slab dimensions and thickness, and the cover. A structural drawing (PDF/DWG, or even a clear photo of the detail) is enough for me to build the schedule. Quick question: is this for a single slab, or the full roof/floor slab layout of the school? And should the steel weights use the standard unit weight (d²/162 kg/m), or your own rate sheet?
