We have need of a work from home office assistant to help out with this small but growing company. We service the health care industry. We need you to work part time, Mon-Tues., 8 hours a day to start then more will be added based on performance (up to full time Mon to Friday 8 hours a day) within a few months. Ideal candidate is someone that is just coming out of university or college or work from home parents. Please read this job description fully before applying Some of the functions you will be responsible for include: 1) Helping to manage sub contractors 2) Occasional calls to vendors for pricing etc. 3) Working with clients and staff of clients over email 4) Basic Knowledge - Setting up /mgmt of online accounts 5) Basic Knowledge - Work with Word, Excel, and Outlook to create documents, edit, send emails etc. 6) Basic knowledge - Work with Wordpress and websites (create pages, edit spelling, put in pictures etc.) 7) Emails to verify/ask questions 8) Documentation of the tasks you do 9) Reports You will receive training on specific tasks. Requirements: 1) Sense of humour and a pleasant attitude. 2) Good with people 3) Native English speaker with good grammar and spelling 4) Speed 5) Punctual 6) Because we work with a lot of people and have access to sensitive data, you cannot have a criminal record. 7) You should have your own computer and unrestricted internet access. 8) Lastly, there will be lots of work involved (some boring, some fun) so hopefully you like that :) Software Skills to be able to work from home: 1) Teamviewer: To login to the computer to start work! 2) Skype: will need constant communication. 3) Excel: must know how to use Excel, such as Excel formulas 4) Word: Must know how to format and compose documents 5) Email: obvious 6) Outlook: Use outlook to schedule tasks and memos / calendars to meet deadlines 7) Corel draw: Draw, move, copy and create shapes: download the tutorial if you don’t know just yet 8) Internet web search: must be good with using Google to do research/detective work Initially you will be part time - but depending on performance, we will bump you up to full time. Should happen within the first few months. ** P.S Also, there will also be opportunity for bonuses if you want to help in the acquisition of new clients but is not required. My Software Skills :- 1) Teamviewer: I use it every day. 2) Skype: Everyday user.
