Overview Need a CSV extract from several data files which meets the following criteria. Have five data files, each sized around 380mb and around 80,000 rows. Objective is to create a single data file which meets set criteria. Requirements - Produce a single CSV file (with headers) that meets the following criteria - CompanyStatus = Active - SICCode.SicText_1 = 68100 OR 68209 OR 7011 OR 7012 OR 9800 OR 98000 - [login to view URL] = WITHIN 50 miles of G11EB Your Skills This is fairly basic task. - Generic data import skills (Excel, database etc) - Key skill is being able to do geographical radial searches based on UK post codes. The source list will contain UK post codes. You will need to have some functionality which enables checking each post code in the list to see if it is within a certain radius. I will supply the source files to bidders who demonstrate the required technical skills. This will be an hour's work for a developer with the correct data focused skill set.

I will use R powerful package "dplyr" to do this. the file is not a problem at all because i have handled more in kaggle competition although i have 8GB RAM.

Hi, I am working as Reporting analyst. I have extensive experience with macros and different datasets for example: csv file, excel , ms access or databases. I could not reduce the the time from 1 day to 1 hour, but this is basic ETL. I don't want to waste your time with a long explanation about my entire skill set, so I will just outline the steps to complete: * Upon receiving the files, use SSIS to stage the data in a local MSSQL DB. * If the format of the 5 files is identical, use a multi-file connector to stage all the files in the same table; I would also the store the file name as a column in case the file source is need for additional investigation. * Query the staged table for the criteria below; Google API or free map tools to get an extract of the postal codes within a 50 mile radius. * Use SSIS or BCP to dump the resulting CSV
