Just ask if they want to try it, plug it in, and check on it once a month for 3 months. What you'll do — Step 1 (one-time): - We give you a list of 10-15 shops and a short script to use - Visit each one, ask the owner/manager if they want to try the free device - If yes, plug it in (it's plug-and-play, nothing technical) - Take a photo and send us the shop's contact info - Do this until 5 shops have said yes and have the device running What you'll do — Step 2 (once a month, for 3 months): - Stop by each of the 5 shops - Make sure the device is still on (replug it if not) - Ask staff if everything's fine - Send us a photo That's it. No sales targets, no follow-up calls, no reports to write beyond a photo and a quick text. Who this is for: - You live in or near Portland and can visit shops in person - You're comfortable walking into a shop and asking a simple question - You can commit to the monthly check-ins over the next 3 months - You reply to a text with a photo when asked No prior experience needed. No selling involved — the device is free for the shop, so it's an easy ask. Payment: $600 total - $60 per shop once the device is placed and running (5 shops = $300) - $100 per month for visiting all 5 shops and confirming they're active (3 months = $300) Paid as each step is completed and confirmed.
